EcoIoT is a project dedicated to monitor our outdoor environment using cloud based technology. The computer we are using in this project is the Arduino Uno Rev2 WiFi with a connection shield attached. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs such as sensors, buttons, switches ect and turn the input into an output. The output can do 'things' like print the temperature, turn on a light, flash some LED's, spin up a motor and more. The possibilities and availability of these different types of controls and sensors are endless. This project is capturing moisture, temperature and humidity readings from two sensors placed in the outdoors, then posts the data onto this website via WiFi periodically. This 'historic data' allows for analysis and visualization of the information gathered.
